Its still staggering how Harry just exploded on to the scene... Until 2014/15 he'd done absolutely nothing.

Wonder if Spurs ever came close to giving up on him

Yep.  Soldado (remember him?) couldn't hit the back end of a donkey with a banjo so Harry was thrown in at the deep end...
  • Most complete centre forward there’s been for a very long time. Finishing, heading, passing, strength, technique. Be a crime if he doesn’t win a major trophy in his career. He’s worth more than Haaland at the moment because he’s proved his worth for a number of years.
  • We all used to shout a players name when scoring a goal as kids.

Griezmann shouts Harry Kane. He’s the striker they wish they could be  ;)

In a parallel universe, Spurs get rid of Kane in 2014, and he signs for Millwall for £250k. 50 goals later they sell him for £15m...

That pass on 0.50 seconds is ridiculous.

I absolutely love him and worth every penny of 100m.
    Absolutely- class act.
  • Red card fair  ?
  • Dirty Leeds - consecutive red cards

Seeing as it was for Leeds, yes.
  • City 2-1 up, De Bruyne with both goals. Him linking up with Haaland next season is going to be frightening for defences.

And De Bruyne now has three - in 16 minutes
  • 3-1, what a hat trick! Ridiculous player.
  • And now KDB has 4!
  • What a player - the complete midfielder.
  • I was going to say that the 3-0 defeat hurts Leeds' goal difference, but as it's about 20 worse than Everton or Burnley, it hardly matters now
  • Everton 36 points - Brentford home, Palace home, Arsenal away.
Burnley 34 points - Spurs away, Villa away, Newcastle home.
Leeds 34 points - Brighton home, Brentford away.

1 win from their 2 home games and i think Everton are safe.
  • As awful as Leeds have been, a point against Brighton or Brentford might be enough for them looking at who Burnley have got left.

I think Leeds might need 4 points, as i can see Burnley at home beating an on the beach Newcastle on the last day.

Eddie Howe helping out his old team...
  • Was it only me that was totally baffled when Pep took Kevin de Bruyne off against Real Madrid so early ?

Kevin de Bruyne is a genius as yet again he proved last night and City have bounced back in style with 10 goals in two games.

Pep had negative thoughts against Real Madrid and it cost them dear. When City are positive and having great players at his disposal, Pep style of play is an art form with Kevin de Bruyne magic brush creating flair normally only seen on canvas.

Dortmund have always been my German team and watched Erling Haaland from the beginning of his Borussia career when BT loved to show the second best team in the Bundesliga. At just 21 if he stays fit, then WOW.

As world class as KDB is, he had a complete stinker against Madrid. Felt like he gave the ball away every time he got it. Perhaps he had a knock.

I'm not sure he was fully fit as he didn't play the league game before Madrid and usually Pep never rests him. He also didn't play well in Madrid anyway and regardless of who was brought off they still should've seen the game out. The key for me was Grealish's chances, if the defender doesn't clear his shot off the line at 1-0 then City go through.
  • Villa have signed Coutinho from Barca after his loan spell this season.
  • A genuinely massive North London derby tonight
  • Villa have signed Coutinho from Barca after his loan spell this season.
    £17million
  • Coutinho must be one of the worst transfers of all time. Barca spent about 140m on him, he played only 76 league games for them in 4 years (works out about 1.8m a game), and one of his best performances in that time was actually against them when he scored twice in an 8-2 CL quarter final win for Bayern.

Then he gets sold for 17m. And Barca wonder why they've got financial problems!
  • Soft... But clumsy
  • A great signing for Villa, if he's fit and motivated. Only 29, so several decent years left you'd hope
