Puts so much emphasis on them needing to beat Crystal Palace Wednesday night - I doubt it'll matter but they'll be the only team in the relegation fight, facing someone with something to actually play for come Sunday
Tell you what though, how bloody good have Newcastle been tonight? their work rate has been insane. Eddie Howe has done some job with this lot to make them more competitive. Joelinton reverting to CM alongside Bruno Guirmares has been a revellation.
Arsenal foul throw ffs and then Toon go down other end and score via an og 1-0
fuckin spurs being handed champions league spawny mouthy I don’t know what to call them that’s not offensive
Only team in the PL who were unbeaten against both City and Liverpool this season, and ultimately that along with the home win over Arsenal last week is what's got them there.
If it was any other team I'd confidently back them to get top 4, but Spurs will do the most Spursy thing ever and lose to Norwich on the last day of the season
Arsenal kinda shot themselves in the foot postponing the original spurs fixture. Got destroyed playing with 10 men on Thursday then have to travel up to Newcastle for Monday. Newcastle clearly had more intensity.
I think messrs Neville and Carragher have gone massively OTT post match on saying Arsenal could be destroyed by this. Still an extremely young squad and nowhere near the depth to challenge for top 4 so the fact they got this far should be seen as a positive for them. Once they lost Tierney especially they struggled to find someone who could keep even half his standard on that side.
Arsenal with that squad should've been nowhere near 4th in the first place.
Just points to how poor Tottenham and Man Utd have been with the squads at their disposal.
How poor Tottenham have been?
Oh yes, 3rd most PL points gained behind City and the Bin Dippers since Conte took over in November. 3 more goals scored than the Bin Dippers in 2022. And Conte has only been in charge since November when we had a goal difference of -7 after Nuno was sacked.
You can't compare our squad to United's in a million years with the money they've spent in comparison.

The fact that last night was Arsenal's 13th league defeat of the season and they can still get 4th tells us it's not been a great season for the champions league chasing sides. They've lost more games than Brighton and Palace!
They can play this whole “we made so many changes” line all they want. That 11 are better than a Southampton team who don’t even look like they give a shit about playing football.

There's still hope for Arteta to be sacked and Arsenal get Viera
Surely Spurs cant not get a point at Norwich, surely?
(Knowing full well Spurs are well capable of fucking this up knowing our recent record in Norwich away games!)
