He didn't come for a single cross all night and doesn't command his area, which was probably Amos' biggest strength. With the addition of some dodgy kicking, it adds up to a very shaky start. Matthews: 6 - solid and competent Inniss: 5 - not really at it and struggled against mobile forwards, notably Parrott. I was a little surprised that Inniss started, but it reflects the paucity of our resources. His booking was a little harsh but his blatant handball afterwards was incredibly stupid and he was very fortunate that the officials somehow missed it; if they hadn't, we would have been down to ten men after half an hour Famewo: 5.5 - lost his man for the first goal and nearly cost us a further goal at the end trying to dribble past a couple of their forwards. Had some good moments as well but a very mixed bag in what was a dysfunctional defence (and team generally) Gunter: 3 - one of the worst performances I have seen from a Charlton player for some time. Absolutely hopeless on the night Dobson: 4 - his mad dash out to try and win a ball that was never his opened us up for the first goal and he was ineffective all evening.
