Gravesend & Northfleet SC v Charlton Athletic SC Cup Final programme 1965

edited August 2021 in General Charlton
An oddity @Eddie_Marshall found in the museum and scanned.

Unusual to see a programme for a supporters' cup final but appears there was a league as well.

So does anyone recognise a relative or even themselves?

And who won?

Don't recall this one, Henry.  Even I was too young in 1965.

I do note, however, that Chairman Les Cardy wouldn't have survived long on this site.  The Grammar Police would have eaten him alive.

And I'd be tempted to give Rod Lugsden a run against Wigan.  Yes, yes, I know that he is 74 now ... but needs must.

Think you missed an open goal there, @Dave Rudd

    Cheap laugh.

But you've scuffed it over the line for us nevertheless.

    Selfless.  Thank you.
