Addicks to Victory started playing just before the players started to walk out and was quickly cut off, was very odd
They meant to play 'Adducks forward to another non scoring home loss '. The last 6 games anyone could attend have yielded one goal only. 1 single goal. And fuck all to cheer about.

    Middlesbrough  L 0-1

    Doncaster          L 1-3

    MK Dons            L 0-1

    Sheffield W        D 0-0

    AFC Wombles   L 0-1

    Wigan Ath         L 0-2

That is somewhat crap to have to pay for. The only way gates are so so is season tickets. Without that people wouldn't be going next week for example. Tommy could play Addicks on to whatever to his heart's content to no audience.
You've missed AFC Wimbledon at home last season where we scored 5

Out of interest,is the new fans adviser on here?
    She should be.
  • PS Charlton have cancelled their BT subscription.
We watched QPR v Barnsley & was expecting Liverpool v Burnley.
    Should come down the Rad.
Plenty of choice in the drinks department.
    Very cheap in price.
    Sky sports on TV.

We are a club at the bottom end of Division 3

But we can  I assume pay for a tannoy person,  and we now i assume pay for a 2nd tannoy person

We pay for a production staff, that also has a commentator, a co commentator (who was a good player for us), a studio that contains one of the best presenters in the business (who was a good player for us), one of our greatest ever managers, alongside a good ex player

A comms departments which has doubled in size over the summer (from a very low number)

And yet no one can press play to the song before the teams come out
I mean I did it for 5 years, it's not hard to get it right.

    Many in cross bars CE
It was the quietest/emptiest I can recall for years at around 12.30/1pm.
    It did get busier later.
But there was no queueing for the bar, apart from one person in front of you being served.
As quiet as I can remember for a few years.

Don't  be a duck. It was not one of the last 6 matches played in front of spectators was it ?

    Quack

  • I don’t know if it is presently the case, but one sub-text from previous years was to never comment on anybody in the comms team, because they are unpaid Charlton fans doing their best voluntarily.
Are we in a situation where people earn a living in communication areas at the club?

  • Has TS got round to connecting hot water to our undersoil piping yet? This will, no doubt, lead to an unwanted match cancellation at some point which will cost us a few thousand in matchday costs and then a few thousand more in lost revenue from a week-night reschedule.
  • In fact. Just bin addicks to victory. It's shit.

Funny how he's found time to record a full on music track whilst Rome is burning
Hope he's not on the fiddle
  • Was the RRR played as the players came out yesterday? I sit in the north upper and the sound from the tannoy isn’t great there so I’m not 100% but it sounded like it started after the players had come out.
  • The tannoy in general was poor yesterday. It had been better in the East Stand, but much quieter yesterday.

Its hard to hear the RRR when The Covered End are singing something different anyway!
  • I couldn’t hear it in the East Stand yesterday, which is unusual as the speakers are usually okay there.
  • I’d say it was played after they left the tunnel mind so there’s progress in them getting it right at least…
  • The sound on the TV's on the Covered End Upper concourses were increased yesterday so you can now just about hear a sound if you stand close to them, but nothing you could make out what was being said, so small steps.

Noticed the new co pitch side presenter is continually reading out information from a script and at half time talking straight into a camera so we could all see on the big screen. Could hear pricesly what was said in the Covered End Upper though.

Familiar with the phrase but I think that's the first time I've ever seen it written down.

Maybe TS did a Back to the Future’s Marty with the amps when he connected his guitar up to them…

Which song does Cheltenham Town walk out to at home?
Can't help thinking playing RRR when the opposition is nicknamed 'The Robins' was a very, very bad idea...
Surely the only exception for playing 'Addicks to Victory'?
