Very sadly I'm having to tell you that TJ is now at Life risk, Mel explained his inability to swallow be it food, saliva etc puts him at high risk of choking which has led to ambulances being called 3 times in the last ten days. He's constantly watched day and night by Mel and her daughters which must be detrimental to their own health, when a care plan is put in place he will move into Demelza house.
That's really sad news Ray. It was a pleasure to meet him and Mel that day he arrived at The Valley. My thoughts and prayers are with TJ and Mel at this time.
Thanks for all your thoughts I’ve passed your good wishes onto Mel, myself and Lynne are sending some flowers just to let them know they are in our thoughts we’re happy to add Cafc family to the message 👍
Spoke to Mel, there’s nothing she needs short of a magic wand. I not sure I can send flowers while TJ is at home so I’m holding fire on that one. Ive passed on our love to her and her family.
Just a little update...... 4 years ago I asked on here where we might be able to source a wheelchair and a safe bed within 2 days you guys raised 2k and within 6 weeks TJ had his new chair and his bed was being manufactured not without help from his dedicated Mum Mel and other sources including one of our then sponsors SheppeyFM the local radio station. TJ is now on life at risk care and has had several hospital visits including operations for various conditions, he recently had his chair replaced (he's a growing lad) but without any need to ask for help from Charlton fans. Mel will bring TJ over to see the dogs at the school as soon as the weather is a bit kinder, his condition means he can no longer attend his special needs school so he's permanently cared for by Mel. I'm going to send her over some flowers later today from all of us to remind the family they are in our thoughts, I dont normally have any heroes in life but in Melissa and our @Tracey are people that inspire me the most to continue to keep on keeping on, despite life's knocks they just keep doing what they do and going that extra mile.

Thinking of the little man , his dear Mum & sisters at this devastating time.
Hope you still have some smiles left in you little man.
My heart goes out to them all.
Please let them know we’re here if they need anything Ray 🙏🏻♥️
