She's a member of Sundridge Park Tennis Club where we've previously had some meetings so close enough.

A local girl since she was 2, but because she has a winning mentality, her coach is worried she may be Charltonised if she ever steps foot into the valley.
If Emma is a footie fan then like many of us we have ours Dad's to blame. The USA slam winner may follow FCSB in the Rumanian League or Steaua Bucharest as they were known before 2017.

The chances of her being a charlton fan look pretty slim to me - her dad is highly unlikey to be and any floating supporters in Bromley would surely be Palace these days if not Liverpool or something. My mate lived in Beckenham for quite a while and although in Chislehurt now, he's paying a big price - he's got a charlton season ticket and has had for as long as me but his boys class mates are mainly palace fans and he has to take them there.0

Somewhere in my loft I still have the clip of an article that Patrick wrote back in 1980.
It was headlined "At last a player to save our national game"
I wonder if anybody can guess which player Patrick was eulogising?0 -

It was a nice article (elegantly written, as always) but on this occasion he wasn’t really right, was he?1
