  • Addicted if your talking about the Hermans on Standard Quay in Faversham you’re right it’s excellent, I use it myself, I recently visited Queenborough on The Isle of Sheppey there is a small quay there and a fishing boat works out of it lands it’s catch and sells it from a stall on the quay Friday Saturday and I believe Sunday. Well worth a visit if your ever that way not such a selection as Hermans but can’t get fresher than straight off the boat.
  • Papas Barn Fish and Chips at Diiton was good years ago.
  • @Bournesnr yes always visit Hermans if we're antique shopping at Standard Quay. Rounds off an pleasant afternoon though I tend to spend more time in there than the shops :D .

Stopped off in Shoreham on the way back from Chichester yesterday to a fishmongers right on the wharf. Not as much that made it easier for me. Some stunning lobsters down there - La Poissonnerie

Where we always go for Fish and Chip supper in Maidstone. Superb quality and nice to sit down and eat basic battered fish in a pleasant surrounding.

    Highly recommended.

Yeah sorry you were after fishmongers

There is a very decent one opened in Chatham High Street, again not a personal recommendation but my mate I work with eats tons of fish and lives the place. They can get you special stuff on request too
