Murray and Evans playing in the ATP Stockholm event. Murray has a first round match against a qualifier and will play top seed (world no. 10) Sinner if he were to win.
Evans is 4th seed and has a first round bye. He will play Davidovich Fokina (world no. 43) in the second round.
Both Raducanu and Murray should be on court in their respective events within a couple of hours. Raducanu in the second round (after her bye) and Murray in the first round.
If you just use a compass, then Orpington is SE London.
The problem is the river, as East London to everyone means north of the Thames, when places like Greenwich, Woolwich, Thamesmead etc are actually geographically East of London, not Southeast of London.
The Valley is further north than Craven Cottage, yet you would say that Charlton was SE London and Fulham West London
Raducanu in a nail biting third set here after losing the first set 6-1 and then winning a second set tie break. She just saved two match points and is at deuce, 5-5.
Not good for Emma, another WTA tour loss. Only young so plenty of time yet to develop into a very good consistent player. Probably time to sit down with the new coach and figure out a plan.

Hardly unexpected - the US Open was a bit of a freak result given her lack of experience. Very few dominant players in women's tennis.

I think she just needs to settle down after such an unexpected meteoric (almost vertical) rise. Having 2 temporary coaches hasn't help - both planned to be temporary and not sacked' as many people (outside of CL) keep criticising her for. New coach will help
She's in a position where even first round exits are moving her up the rankings (because she had no points to defend). It's a very strange position indeed and only after the end of 2022 will her "proper" ranking begin to settle down.

Yeah i noticed that the other day, she's gone up to 20 despite actually doing very little since the US Open.

Since when was Orpington in South East London ?

Anyway, back to Tennis
Evans vs Davidovich Fokina at 12 noon local time.
Murray vs Sinner at 6pm local time.
Murray should be up shortly. If he can beat Sinner, he'll have a quarter final against world no. 53 Tommy Paul.
