I have a wedding of a good friend next Sunday, so 3 months ago i book this travel lodge which is near by (wedding is in York and Northern Joe is from leeds) and the room costs me 25 notes. Anyway Joe rings me yesterday, saying that my travel lodge has flooded, and wont be fixed for when we need it! Anyway they didnt even bother to ring anyone, it was lucky that his Mrs rung them on the off chance that it may of flooded!

Anyway again, i looked for another hotel, one 6 miles away, nearer york town centre, and its 75 squid a night! How bollox is that!

rant over!

  • You're lucky, two of the lads at work were up Leeds last week and in a hotel that had only just been declared dry. No food was allowed to be served, had to go to the pub round the corner for that, the rooms stank of 'pond' apparently and they didn't save any money!!

    Gutted!!
  • ere, anorther thing is, i got the next wedding the week after the northern wedding, on the 4th of aug, and i got a travel lodge as well, this time in Milton Keynes, isnt that in Northants??? anyone no?
