  • If the faceless gravy train supping suits at the FA gave a rat's arse for anything other than the gargantuan revenue stream they'd cheerfully wait for the quarter final results before nailing down the semi-final venues.  There's so much money to be made from ticket sales the risks to FA are minimal.  All the 40k+ premier league grounds can be put on notice.  Even moving PL fixtures at a few weeks notice is no issue. That's done on the whim of TV companies as a matter of course.
Through ludicrous incompetence FA is of course still paying the humiliatingly massive price of Wembley's rebuild.
"...but the FA should be considering we fans, etc... sob sob...bleat bleat..."  yes of course they should be, but when did they ever?  I've been following football at various levels for 40+ years and it's never been any different.  Nobody promoted to a position of actual responsibility at FA has ever given a fig for fans, mostly through incompetence but they are all hopelessly blinded to all considerations other than the most simplistic short term way to generate immediate cash revenue.  Fans are low down on a list of factors in the bottom of a dusty drawer in a disused office somewhere back at their old HQ in Lancaster Gate, we are but vessels for conveying cash to the FA's coffers.
In the interests of balance, 20 or 30thousand scallies or mancs will be perfectly capable of organising their own transport to and from LB Brent for the day, nobody ever owns up to how many/few were ever likely to take the train
  • Always did have a soft spot for Chelsea
  • That's pretty funny, did they seriously expect Chelsea to say yes?
  • I agree that 'if you don't ask, you don't get', but there's a limit. They'd have had more chance asking for a goal head start.
  • It really does sum up the stupidity and arrogance of that club. As if they were ever gonna say yes.
  • Come on Chelsea :)
  • Please Chelsea crush the Stripeys

And then for Vieira to moan about Chelsea's decision, as if they have been wronged in some way. Guess rules don't apply to them.
  • after watching yesterday it's a shame that Liv / Man City isn't the final.

I'll actually look forward to watching their Semi Final as the football from both yesterday was absolutely top drawer, they are on another planet

Pep isn’t bothered at all about this. You can tell by the lineups. Genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool win this at a canter.
  • You can see that this is basically Liverpool v Man City B.

Man City really want to win the Champions League and Premier League so you can understand it in that sense.
  • Lord forbid Palace win tomorrow but if they do I fancy there is more chance of Liverpool beating them in the final than City.
  • Yawn. This is why you don’t bring a backup keeper in to a semi final at Wembley.
  • What a plank
  • Say what you like about Liverpool fans (and plenty on here do!) but their support today is incredible. Its like a home game.
  • Token American Man City player is clearly out of his depth in a game like this? Well i'm shocked.
  • Don’t think I’ve ever seen a Guardiola side give the ball away so often. City have been shocking.

No De Bruyne makes a huge hole in their team.
  • Brilliant goal but slightly Charltonish defending from City
  • This is getting embarrassing for city.
  • Outstanding finish from Mane
  • Outstanding finish from Mane
Thought he had mis-kicked it when I first saw it!
  • At least the bin dippers will suffer all the more when Man City complete their comeback in the second half

Serves pep right for taking the Piss. As much as I dislike Liverpool, I’d be quite happy to see Man City win fuck all.

No chance. Can you even imagine what Liverpool fans will be like if they win the treble let alone a first ever quadruple?
  • Jesus... BBC are really have to kiss Liverpool arses over over that minutes silence arent they!!
