If the faceless gravy train supping suits at the FA gave a rat's arse for anything other than the gargantuan revenue stream they'd cheerfully wait for the quarter final results before nailing down the semi-final venues. There's so much money to be made from ticket sales the risks to FA are minimal. All the 40k+ premier league grounds can be put on notice. Even moving PL fixtures at a few weeks notice is no issue. That's done on the whim of TV companies as a matter of course. Through ludicrous incompetence FA is of course still paying the humiliatingly massive price of Wembley's rebuild. "...but the FA should be considering we fans, etc... sob sob...bleat bleat..." yes of course they should be, but when did they ever? I've been following football at various levels for 40+ years and it's never been any different. Nobody promoted to a position of actual responsibility at FA has ever given a fig for fans, mostly through incompetence but they are all hopelessly blinded to all considerations other than the most simplistic short term way to generate immediate cash revenue. Fans are low down on a list of factors in the bottom of a dusty drawer in a disused office somewhere back at their old HQ in Lancaster Gate, we are but vessels for conveying cash to the FA's coffers. In the interests of balance, 20 or 30thousand scallies or mancs will be perfectly capable of organising their own transport to and from LB Brent for the day, nobody ever owns up to how many/few were ever likely to take the train

Chelsea respond to Crystal Palace's special Conor Gallagher request (msn.com)
I'll actually look forward to watching their Semi Final as the football from both yesterday was absolutely top drawer, they are on another planet
Man City really want to win the Champions League and Premier League so you can understand it in that sense.
