We are a long way from fucked, but pretty close to buggered.!0 -
3-4-2-1 formation, similar to the usual...

Be very surprised if we don’t lose this - gobbo has had it over us even when we have had a decent side out -with no strike force we’re knackered1
-
I’d play Gunter up top with Watson just behind5

Gotta feel for Jackson a bit. It was hard enough even if all those 3 are fit and available.2

The injury situation never improves at Cafc.
We just need to scrape and get to the end of this disappointing season. With Stockley and Washington playing in a two with Aneke for Jayden and Mason for Conor coming off the bench then we would have continued to improve. Still believe we would have reached 8th. I did stay if the injuries continue then more like 18th. The latter is more likely.
We will probably screw Kanu career like we did to Grant for a couple of years by playing him at 17, Needs must and managers of this club continue to pick the team after the medics have ruled players out.
Poison chalice of a job.

Hope JJ knows the pitch is muddy and unpayable in places0

Getting a little tired of the’ players are giving me everything’ quote, clearly that isn’t the case, we started to get results when they did, we can all see with our own eyes the difference from when he was caretaker to now manager. But at least there is the excuse of missing players. I’m really not having a go at JJ, but please don’t try and pull the wool over our eyes.6

And the bit about showing a bit of grit and toughness now, as if it’s not been needed in the previous games.3

poor ol JJ has been reduced to spouting worn out old clichés .. I do wonder if he's too nice, too pally and not hard enough with his players, has it all got a bit too cozy2

At least Stockleys back. Maybe wont play much of a part on Saturday but next Saturday should hopefully start.
Re the pitch - it looked awful 2 weeks ago when they played Rotherham & its only got worse since. Likely to be heavy & bound to cut up. Not the time to be playing tippy tappy stuff - just play hoof ball. Maybe put Innis up front & get Burstow/Leko/whoever to get the knock downs.1 -

Personally think the summer is his biggest test yet.0 -
cabbles said:clive said:I am hoping that his decision to stick with his preferred formation is his challenge to the players to ask if they can play for him next season. It is clear that some have not been able to rise to the challenge and will be moved on.
From what TS was saying last night I got the impression that they are all on the same page going forward so it will be an interesting summer. Really looking forward to see a JJ team play.3 -

He needs the chance to show what he can do with support and backing. We can't keep changing managers. I suspect from what has been said, if he fails he will be easy to get rid of. I honestly expect him to succeed as long as he is backed.7
