Dobson: 9.5 Superb reading of the game, always found space, made numerous tackles and interceptions. DJ: 7.5 Good performance with some decent crosses. Gilbey: 8 Good run for the penalty, strong running all game and got stronger as the game went on. Lee: 7.5 Good cross for the goal, great range of passing and worked hard. Purrington: 8.5Strong defensive display, scored one could have had a second. Gilbey: 8.5 has picked up on his excellent 2nd half of last season. Excellent. Lee: 8,5 only thing he lacks is pace. Some great movement & play throughout the game. Purrington: 8.5 WHAT. A. HEADER!! Excellent game. Stockley: 8.5 fortunate with the goal, after poor spill from the keeper, but a great display again. Back to last season’s highs. Washington: 8 good pen, tireless work for the team. The extra striker we’ve needed all season. Referee: 7 early yellows I thought was a bad sign, but did ok.
MacG: 7 little to do, distribution was good. Gunter: 7.5 often give him stick but did very well today. Pearce: 7 had his classic Jason dodgy moment but did well overall. Famewo: 7 often great but his passing needs work. Dobson: 9.5 possibly the finest defensive midfield performance I have seen at this level. Absolute mustard today. DJ: 8 came on and was excellent could have had 3 assists easily. Gilbey: 8 the engine. Lee: 7.5 classy player, need to be more clinical though. Purrington: 7.5 did very well but should have scored a sitter. Stockley: 8 so much better in a two and has upped his work rate for Jacko. Washington: 7 worked really hard but not a huge amount came off for him. Referee: 7 got pretty much everything right, booking Purrington and then not whiter bloke straight after was frustrating.

Famewo: 8 - I like the role he has been playing even though I am not certain what it is yet, I think he has benefited from JPs experience Dobson: 9 - excelllent, not just a destroyer. Pass for pen was great. DJ: 7 - really good crosses but I want to see if he is capable of pushing on Gilbey: 8 - high energy right to the end, a couple f good runs beyond where he wasn't picked out Lee: 7 - Always wants the ball Purrington: 8.5 - I have never understood why he has been so easily dropped in teh past for players who were clearly not as consistent. I think we will be rewarded with an improvement by a longer run in the team Stockley: 8 - Bossed their defence, linked up better but probably should have done better with at least one of teh chances he had Washington: 7 - Ran everywhere and hard to see why he hasn't played more Referee: 8 - Barely noticed him, no obvious rickets
