    She used to live around the corner from my parents and my mum would often talk to her in passing along the street  If I remember correctly, and this was a conversation I had with my Mum a couple of years ago, Jean was quite unwell and she hadn’t seen her for quite sometime.

  • She used to sit very close to me in the cupboard end.  Had a winning bet on every game from 1994 through 2003.  God knows how many bets she had a game. 
  • Jean is the only person I've ever met who's not related to me (AFAIK) but we both have the same surname and both came from Eltham.
