Urgent repairs to the railway at Slade Green are resulting in disruption to trains through the station. Trains may be delayed or cancelled until the end of the day.
What's happened?
A piece of railway equipment requires urgent repairs in the Slade Green area, which means that the line through the station towards Dartford is blocked.
Response staff have advised us that repairs will take longer than first thought, and can only be done at the end of service after trains have stopped running so the line from London Bridge to Slade Green via Woolwich will be blocked all day.
Services towards London can still run via Slade Green, however they will also experience disruption resulting from the ongoing repair work.

Comments
No trains can currently run on the Woolwich Line away from London.
The fix will happen at the end of service.
