I think he's had a few injuries but hasn't really shone when watching the U23s.1

Blooming marvellous 🤩3
-
I think there's more fight in our current squad than we've seen in a several years, even if we're not always as skillful.1
-
I used to think this farce of a competition was just a cynical advertising gimmick for junk food but now we have beaten MK Dons reserves 1.0, I realise how very wrong I was.
This is clearly one of the most prestigious cup tournaments in Europe and to think anything else is a gross insult to Jacko and every Charlton legend since1947.
I certainly won't be changing my view if we lose to Sutton away on penalties and both our strikers get injured.15 -
Great news for the club and well done to the hordes who made it down there !
my 9 year old (lairy little shit) was pleased at least as I put him to bed last night with a wrongly worded chant of jo Leko song (I’m unsure of the words) saying it’ll be good to go to Wembley even if it doesn’t mean anything .
he then enquired about how many times we’d been there
and he didn’t know about 1987 (so after 6 whacks of my slipper he was sent to bed )
two of his older brothers both wise enough to be miserable like their old man shrugged it off , brain box was up studying for his mocks but just blagging it to watch The Ashes and `Peter Kay ‘ one was just loitering for biscuits , cat funt .
Petrol head locked in basement moaning about going back to school tomorrow cos he’s getting his Xbox time cut , prick .
of the teams left just Pompey , Chelsea u21s and arsenal u21s who may take more fans to Wembley than us , what a time to be alive30 -
£40k banked last night from winning so at least it was a profitable outing for the club13

Was there.
I really want Kirk to be any good, but if someone like Wigan or Bolton came in with a realistic offer it might suit all parties.
That tackle by Innes on Eisa was hefty.
MKD were well coached in my view and unlike some I thought Harness played well throughout and in a non Stockley team his distribution was good.7 -
Overall enjoyable evening. Treated as a friendly so wouldn’t have been overly annoyed if we lost. Thought everyone played well, don’t think most would have shown Jacko they are better than the current first 11.
Remember watching Innis at start of the season and his inability to break into a sprint showed he wasn’t fit. None of that last night and was diving into tackles showing that he felt confident with his fitness level.
Watson showed that he can still play a part this season. Burstow looks the real deal as a striker.Good performances from CBT, Matthews, Gunter, Kirk etc. Do I want them anyone to come into the starting 11 anytime soon. A definitive no, and that’s our current problem.
If we get a home draw, it would be nice to have a higher attendance than last night.1.5k home fans. Hoping it would be double for the next game.1 -
The Quarter Final draw of the Papa John’s Trophy will take place live on TalkSPORT on Thursday 6 January on the Jim White and Simon Jordan show.

Pleased for those who attended and those who played well - hope we keep the same team throughout in this and don't start dropping players out as we get closer to a final - treat it as a reserve game - still not interested in attending if we get to Wembley - going to Wembley should be for special occassions.4

One piece of a great acceleration from Burstow which laid on a great chance for Leko just further proof this boy could be something special.
And oh yes. Our name is clearly on the cup this year after Souare's push wasn't given as a penalty! Absolutely blatant penalty.Thought the game was overall pretty poor (although I quite enjoyed it), but it was a good opportunity for the likes of Henry and Ness to gain some experience, and some very useful minutes for Inniss. Was disappointed that Kirk didn’t grab his chance though.0 -
Baffling chant of the night was "oh Milton Keynes....is wonderful!", from the handful of MK fans who made the trip.0

Is Milton Keynes essentially a new town built around the older place called Bletchley (or something?).0

Was there, and it was absolutely freezing.
The game was tedious for the most part. Still very happy to qualify and really want us to get to the Final.
Highlight was hearing about 30 MK Dons fans singing “No One Likes Us”1 -
Really good striker’s goal from Leko.0
-
Really glad we decided to go to this one.
Very decent game & a late late goal from the Addicks ....what's not to like ?
Looking forward to tomorrow's draw.3 -

great to win it in the dying seconds. Hopefully we can do the same soon in an actual meaningful match.
