Defense misjudged the offside trap and we concede a corner from the right. Matthews hoofs the ball into the Covered End and the ref blows for half time.
CBT looks a good outlet and dangerous down that right. With DJ struggling the last couple games and Leko being deployed more centrally, we could really do with having CBT back in the team.
Think Henry has shown some promise, good range of passing and done pretty well to pressure the ball despite usually being more of a sitting player. Burstow has taken up some good positions, think he still lacks the physicality and the instant first touch for things to consistently come off for him, but he's only 18 and there's definitely promise there.
Iniss has looked good in the air. Matthews continues to look quite solid at RCB, where he looked very strong before getting hurt. Just good for the back three to get minutes at this point.
Kirk has shown some moments of trickery and technical quality. You can see it in little flashes from him. But he's not a natural 10 and the way he likes to play on the left cutting in doesn't work in our current setup. I hope he is able to adjust to being a 10 as we could definitely use cover there, but it remains to be seen.
He’s been alright, at least he never tries to hide and is looking to make things happen. Maybe a nice little goal or assist might help him with his confidence a bit - would like to see him take on some players some more.
Feel a little sorry for Kirk, he's made some great runs and Souare either plays sideways or backwards. Kirk defo has the skill to play in this League but also needs to have a proper overlapping full-back as well as a full-back who wants to play him in down the line. Lets hope JJ can get Papa to look to use that out ball in the 2nd half.
Its been alright from us... its two "B" Teams effectively playing each other
Defence has done alright, although Souare has potentially gotten out of jail with that penalty
Keep forgetting that he's playing, he's been that anonymous
Been impressed though with Henry | Burstow and Kirk tonight, the latter hasn't been anything special, but he's done better than what we've seen previously. Ironically it comes against the team he got his debut against.

Would not disagree, but the big but is why we bought a player that is so needy in order to produce anything worthwhile. A player needs to be dangerous in his own right up front.
Innis is looking the fittest I have ever seen him. Watson running the show to be fair.
This match has penalty shoot out written all over it...
Should be a rule that says turgid games should end in a penalty shootout, fans dont deserve a boring 0-0... Watch some prick like Leko or Kirk stick the ball in the net off the referee's arse come the 94th minute and so deny us the excitement

One piece of a great acceleration from Burstow which laid on a great chance for Leko just further proof this boy could be something special.
And oh yes. Our name is clearly on the cup this year after Souare's push wasn't given as a penalty! Absolutely blatant penalty.

o, u arse
Whose idea was it to play Irving in the first place?
