How many records could Fulham break

It must be a joy to watch Fulham. Seventy goals at this time of the season is pretty impressive to say the least.
They would have to top 134 goals by Peterborough in 1960-61; this is improbable; however, there must be other records they could topple.
At the moment teams must be frightened to death, even at the thought of crossing the halfway line.

  • That's done it, they won't score now in their next four games.

Oh dear, I know a couple of Fulham lads, I hope not!
    Don't tell Richard Osman.
  • The really strange thing is that they went through a spell, prior to Christmas, of only scoring 3 goals in 5 games. In fact, 47 of their 70 goals goals have come in 9 matches and they have scored just one or less in 11 of their 26 league games so they can be stopped. If they went on a comparable one to that and Bournemouth found their form again they might not even win the Championship. I wouldn't bet against them doing so though!
  • All to be in a battle with Norwich to be the 20th best team

    I'd take that.

Possibly but, as they say in financial circles, "past performance is only a guide to the future". Burnley went down, came back up and then stayed in the PL for a number of seasons - that may well change this one. Leeds will still be in the PL next season for the third consecutive year and Brentford don't appear to be having any issues in mixing it at that level.
  • So did we

Absolutely - much better than competing with Cheltenham for 15th place in league 1.
  • last game they scored 6 without a goal from Mitrovic
  • they will go up but will still have a fight n their hands to stay up

  • Fulham will have their massive new stand open soon, the income that generates will surely help them stay in the PL more than a season IF they can get their transfer policy right

3 years ago they replaced too many of their Championship side and lost the team spirit and momentum
Last season they went too far the other way

How much revenue does a stand make compared to the £100 million plus TV money?

Does the size of the stand actually make that much of a difference to incomes? They will obvs make a bit more money but enough to finance enough players to stay up?

It helps. That stand will generate a lot of hospitality and corporate income

Though yes, it's dwarfed by the TV income
  • And they've only sold 800 for Stoke on Saturday. Happy clappy supporters

Well if Norwich are successful in being the 20th best team, then no they wont ;)
