Not to be underestimated Wimbledon haven't won for a while but in that time they've still proved hard to beat.
Fresh from our ritual win at Fratton Park, it'll be hoped there's a confidence about our side today.

Jacko says, "“As always, when you do win a game it transforms the mood around the training ground. Obviously there’s been smiles on faces and a bit of a bounce over the last few days."
The manager likes to retain at least the core of a settled side - so not really expecting many changes.

New signing Scott Fraser has let us know yesterday that he's excited to be playing in front of The Valley crowd today.
Sounds like he's playing, then ...... but he hasn't had much football since before Christmas, so possibly only from the bench?

Everybody seems fit, including both the new loanees, apart from the long term Stockley and JFC.

UNCHANGED! Fraser on the bench.

Charlton: MacGillivray; Clare, Inniss (c), Famewo; Matthews, Gilbey, Dobson, Morgan, Blackett-Taylor; Aneke, Washington

Subs: Henderson,  Pearce, Purrington, Fraser, Lee, Jaiyesimi, Burstow,

COYR!

Sounds like Jacko has an almost fully fit squad at his disposal, really looking forward to seeing how Dobson and Fraser work together...hopefully, feeling very positive with this match, and a good 3 points to take us towards the 40's.
Always a good studio with Morts along with Curbs and Minto...so let's get the third win on the spin.. B)

DJ on the bench ahead of Leko. Jackson listens to me even if FA doesn't

Fraser and Burstow are joined on the bench by Stephen Henderson, Jason Pearce, Ben Purrington, Elliot Lee and Diallang Jaiyesimi....Sounds a strong back up, hope to see Fraser at some point... B)

I'd certainly bring Fraser in for Morgan.

As for the Prem loanees......not seen them in action so cant say. I bet Chelsea & Spurs are wondering why too.

Pointless loanees except for our burstow. Good lineup

Why change things for the sake of it?

These 2 young loan signings are a resource during the rest of the season.
They'll get their chance soon enough.

Yeah maybe not throw them into the 11 but a bit odd they can't even make the bench

Like most I would have started Fraser ahead of Morgan but maybe he needs some fitness. Other than that you can see why JJ wouldnt want to tinker much after Tuesday

    Yes. A strong bench.

Agree with the unchanged lineup but what’s the point of the two new loanees if they can’t even get on the bench?
  • The correct choice to keep an unchanged starting 11. Jacko keeps talking about earning the shirt, and Albie for example deserves to keep his place.
  • Anyone got log in issues with Charlton TV?

Who would you leave out to make space for them? John in particular has to get past Fraser and Lee

If loanees come straight into the team, you all moan that the Gaffer is prioritising other teams players' than his own.

Maybe the 2 loanees who have hardly kicked a ball in the pro game need 2/3 weeks training with their new Club.
  • Would have been surprised if Jackson had changed a winning team.
Continuity and confidence of winning has produced the results.
  • Fraser not played since 15th December and Morgan more than deserves to start today after Pompey game.

    I certainly see Jacko's thinking.

Scott Fraser hasn't played a League game since before Christmas - match fitness is likely lacking.

Secondly, Morgan has the shirt. Right now it's his to lose. He knows what he has to do.

Okay, instead of who ..... the experienced Purrington and Lee?

Jacko has indicated just that. He said the 2 lads have had only few training sessions and wants to integrate them into our way of playing (!)

He also said right now he has 23 fit outfield players and can't pick them all for the Matchday squad.
