This has been my toughest 25 days of my life but I’m going home on Sunday ! I’m so happy
They removed my pancreas , which had two large rare tumors and my spleen and I’m told it’s all gone and I’m unlikely to need any other treatment other than regular check ups ! Long rehabilitation to come and massive diabetic requirements for the rest of my life but I have a life and that’s what matters .
I gather I’ve missed quite a bit in the last month regarding Charlton. I will be at The Valley for the first game of the season . The big C won’t keep me away !
you're looking good Beds .. take it slow and easy, just let recovery take its time and get fully healed .. think of the money you're saving being bed bound (:>)
Looking well Beds !!! keep up the fight and get yourself sorted for next season. Your lucky your downtime occurred when it did as you havent missed much in the CAFC world lol
That's great news mate. I've been type 1 diabetic for 40 years, a bit of a pain to get your head round at first but it just ends up becoming part of your daily routine. Good thing is with the advances in treatment/medicines over the years, you can now control it rather than it controlling you (within reason).
