Anyone else see …

The agro with Gills fans right behind the goal in the last ten mins of the match , looked like 15-20 youngsters and the heavy mob stewards .
It was so weird,  just a constant bundle and punches being thrown with 10-15 stewards some in the stand some out at one point the bundle fell towards the pitch and the advertising hoardings went over .
They eventually pulled 2 or 3 out, I thought the old bill would have gone in but most of them looked like they were near the train station of what I saw after .

They were holding two lads outside the ground waiting for the police to come and do what they needed to...

Yep - saw all that - Gills fans also running down from upper tier of Jimmy Seed to join in - Police just stood on corner of West Stand and Jimmy Seed and videoed it

I drove, but when we went past the junction with Charlton Church Lane I looked up towards the station I could see a few mounted Police, and plenty of Police on foot around the train station

Can anyone on here advise what it was like at the station ?

Reason I drove was to avoid being on the station post match, and also on train to Dartford, as they do have some oiks for supporters (as do we)

We left 10 minutes early to get the Plumstead train before Gillingham descended on the station. Tons of OB at the station with riot helmets clipped to their belts so were expecting trouble from the Gills.

I got the 9.52 to Abbey Wood. Didn't see any trouble. A few Gills chants but a line of coppers up Floyd Road, to the station and on the platform. Seemed a bit of overkill, but there you go.
  • From Vital Gillingham.

I thought the support was good throughout and made it a decent away day despite the result. That's apart from the nonsense fighting/goading the stewards towards the end. I have no idea who started it but it's a great way to separate the scrotes who all made their way to join in. The 14yo idiots in the matching fake Burberry scarves came from the near me in the back tier. The guy in the maroon was a right **** presumably on the white stuff. An older fan was trying to do him a favour by calming him down and moving him away but he started on him too. Probably all looks good on TikTok to their fellow scrotes but I wish the stacked steward just lamped the ***** to teach them a lesson.

There was a couple of moments walking up Floyd road where it got heated and some of the police had to step in. Bit pathetic to see two middle aged balding men fighting over football but there you go

Bit pathetic to see anybody fighting over football let alone aged bald men.
Maybe they should take a look at what’s going on in other parts of Europe and take a reality check.

Did any of them try to take their horses into the pub ?
Was any of them a White Horse, and did they have a whisky?

I remember travelling home on the train from a game and couple of particularly loud obnoxious types got on the train at Gillingham and chanted anti Charlton stuff all the way home, it became obvious they were going to the same station as me. A quick phone to my missus and she was outside the station with Bailey on my arrival , they soon found somewhere else to be. ;)

Was a pretty big police presence up Floyd Road and at the station. The old bill grabbed 1 person off the platform and bundled him off but couldn't see why. Only other issue I saw was a dad offering out one of the staff at the train station as they'd tried to shut the gates with his kid half way through them which was a bit stupid.

Other than the usual giving it large when already on the train when the other fans can't get to you the Gills fans were OK which was a relief as I was stuck in a carriage with about 100 of them! Even sang a few songs about Paul Scally being a tosser which I agreed with wholeheartedly.

A Number of Gills fans started fighting their police escort outside the Rose of Denmark pre-match after they were refused entry to the pub.
