Charlton, ranked number 35 with regards to seasons spent in top flight (26 seasons).
Good to know Palace are on 22 seasons , and Millwall are level with Darwen on 2 seasons spent in the top flight.

Ten years ago they were only on 13 (half our tally). They're not far off of us now. I would hardly describe that as good!
I know currently they are light years ahead, but footballs cyclical, and you’ve got to hope they’ll slip up sometime soon and get relegated, and Charlton will come steaming up the outside lane in their Aston Martin, so to speak, we live in hope….
And where does this "football is cyclical" thing come from? Sounds !Ike a myth.
Liverpool took what 30 years to win the league, Man United 26 years before Fergie came along.
Everton were great in the 80’s now there hanging on to staying in the premier league.
Palace are having their turn at the moment, but enough about them.
I hope not , but it might be another 15 years before we get to the premier league, none of us know!
We’ve been a broken club for years, a few days in the sun granted but no sustainability.
The current lot of players are flakey, they do well if the suns shining and the winds blowing the right way, we’ve got to aim higher than that if we want to go anywhere, not just with over optimistic words to persuade the fans to buy a season ticket, but a half decent plan.
We might swap places again with Palace but currently we in a reverse situation together of around the war period. We are probably looking at a 'cyclical period' needing another 20 years.
I just hope that they don't catch us up or overtake us in FA Cup wins
Palace 21 37 33 3
Millwall 2 44 43 5
