2021-22 CL Prediction League Week 34 Results

Last week, I spent about 15-20 minutes studying league tables and current form, so that I could make a last push for the Premier League title. What a waste of effort as I scored a big fat zero. Whether @meldrew66 spent one minute, 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an entire evening on last week's predictions, I may never know, but suffice to say, 7 meaty points prove that they were excellent predictions and would have been a full house if Arsenal hadn't added the third goal. @Addick Addict, @Saulc23 and @Swerve also scored highly commendable six point scores. In a week where Charlton didn't let down a whole bunch of predictors. The scores were better than the previous three weeks, which doesn't say much, in truth. Still, four weeks to go, though, as the Premier League and play-offs give everyone a chance for a late sprint for the line, even though League One winds up.

Hallelujah!!!! Just as I was penning my letter of resignation for Team Meldrew66, it's whipped away with a single week of decent predictions. To answer @TMA's question, the predictions came to me pretty quickly, as they have done every week. I'm now puzzling over why I've been so inept all season or whether this week was a one-hit-wonder. Either way, I'm gonna channel my inner-Phil Parkinson and give it a bloody good go next year.
