Get your own wallet out then. Very, very easy to spend other peoples’ money.
Said very few when Roland was owner...
I think there's generally an acknowledgement that the issue with Roland wasn't the money as he spent quite a lot, sometimes well sometimes badly, it was the employing a CEO who had fans assaulted by security, posting public statements against the fans, removing experienced staff and cutting departments, hiring of random blokes he met in Belgium presumably on bird watching tours, being completely remote and generally hating the club more than was entirely reasonable. That and the duct tape shoe thing.
Plus his Network idea.
I could be wrong, but didn't that look more like Charlton was going to be the feeder club for Liege, at one point?
For 1 I'm not saying protest now, but at what stage if things don't get better do things like that start to happen ???
When we get an owner who purely thinks about himself instead of the club.
We cant start protesting each time just because we dont like the results on the pitch - After all there are only ten teams that can be promoted in the Football League each season, meaning that 62-clubs have to suffer disappointment of some kind.

When the owner doesn’t do things with the best interests of the club. Just remember a football club is more than just the 11 players on the pitch. He’s used that time to get the ship in order. The progress on the pitch will come but people have to just be patient.
I know you have Charlton’s best interests in your heart, but maybe just trying to be positive and get behind people trying to do the right thing would be a more productive use of your energy as opposed to plotting their demise.
That’s not saying don’t call out decisions you think are bad decisions 👍

When he starts to show that he isn't well intended imo.
For me; things got really out of hand with RD when he was asking for a rediculous asking price for the club, while at the same time seemingly going out his way to not even meet the minimal financial requiremnts to keep a Club our size on it's feet
The whole CAT1 thing is a direct sign of Sandgaard's ambition. - Another, bringing the Women's team back under the official CAFC banner. - Another, funding around £8-£10m a season for the past two seasons. - The original sign of ambition from him, funding what would have been a very expensive legal battle to win the case that could have seen us putty in the hands of Farnell and the Dentist.
I see the same problems as anyone else with the lack of the right knowledgeable people in roles (CEO, DoF, etc) but to say TS has no ambition? That's just guff.
I think TS’s biggest issue at the moment is his naivety with the things he says and some of the stuff he’s done already.
I’m not dismissing this post as this poster has the right to be frustrated after such a poor season but it’s early to start protesting and calling for his head.
This summer is the most crucial in TS’s rein. If we don’t get it right again then TS’s ownership does need to be questionable IMO.
I'm beginning to think that Sandgaard goes on here, reads threads like this and says 'fuck you, I'm signing John Marquis then, see how you like that'. This is your fault.
Yeah, let’s protest against a guy, although a little bit quirky and eccentric, whose spent 16M of his own money on a club that was rotten and damaged internally to the core, trying to put things right and infrastructure in place. I truly believe his intentions are good, and eventually he will get it right IMO i have not agreed with every decision he has made, and he has even acknowledged that he knows that is going to be the case across the fanbase. He gets the benefit of my doubt of this summer window, new manager and hopefully decent recruits. I will judge him/the club on results and if we are struggling come November 5th (always my cut off, enough time for a new squad and manager to have shown what they are worth by then) then the time to ask questions is right. Protests are a long long way off necessary and a slight over reaction right now IMO

Out of interest, are you a season ticket holder and have you renewed for next season?
Wasn't last season as work commitments and even if that changed I wouldn't as I can't see much ambition at the moment
So you're moaning that "everything seems to be done on the cheap" whilst admitting you're not putting any money into the club?
Whilst you as an individual obviously isn't going to impact our budget, the fewer people who do not go, then means that Sandgaard then has to spend even more money. If 5k adults don't get a season ticket then that's about another 1.5-2m Sandgaard has to front.
It's honestly laughable that you and others can moan about this, when the club is losing 8m+ a year. What exactly would you be protesting against? The fact he didn't spend 10m, 12m, more?

Yep - if he doesn't get it right by then, there'll be fireworks...
Jesus Christ - a section of our fans really are turning into United fans. Throwing a wobbly every time we have a poor season.
If TS begins investing 0 into the club, racking up huge debts, not coming to games, ripping out the soul and culture of the club then lets protest but the bloke is spending c.10m a year on us, would I like us to spend more sure, is it reasonable to expect every owner in the football league to throw hundreds of millions at promotion every year? No.
I'm a little embarrassed by threads like this, I think fans should be a little more realistic on what type of club Charlton are. I'm not going to dispute that the football has been very poor, but we should have no sense of entitlement to win every game just because we are Charlton. Man United supporters were protesting about their club a few weeks ago, and I was disgusted by their sense of "right" to win the league every year.
Our club is now stable and able to operate, the owner, although very naive, has invested into the club with his own money, seems honest, and actually cares. We've not had an owner like that for many years.
It's not an easy ride being a Charlton fan, and we have overcome many extreme challenges over the last 40 years, our resilience has become part of our DNA, and that's what makes me proud to be associated with the club. We would all like to be in a higher league, challenging for success, but so does every club, I'd much rather we did in a sustainable way rather than face administration and ruin.

I'm with you 100%
Mobilise the troops and we'll take the protest to Copenhagen so it's on his doorstep.
