  • Had a good perm as well
liked him as a player , prepared to have a go in the positive sense unlike our current squad full of crabs
His hair was like fannies of the day, his hair now is the same as fannies of  today.
How is Mrs @guinnessaddick these days G? 😂

20 seconds into this.....proper wing-play by Martin Robinson and an amazing miss by Derek Hales/amazing save by Paul Barron.
Not a great save, shocking miss by Killer.
He didn't want to use his right foot.

Great run. Why take that touch, Hales?!
  • However bad from Hales (and it was bad) that was an amazing save from Barron. Some keepers would've given up on it but he didn't. It looked like the game's defining moment.

But what brilliant wing-play by Robinson. Not only to beat the two challenges but to make such a long run and lay on such a good ball for Hales. Really good offensive player but maybe not so great in a defensive capacity. Good player to watch though.
  • Paul Barron is my cousin in law.
He played more games for Welling than any of his other clubs.
That does Paul.Barron a huge disservice.  He played 250 plus league games for Plymouth (44), Arsenal (8), Crystal Palace (90)West Bromwich Albion (63), QPR (32) us Reading (4) loan and Stoke City (1).
He played 125 for Welling United in two spells.
How is that a disservice? He did play more game for Welling than anyone else and was fantastic for them (I saw him play loads of those 125 games).
