Thought it might be nice to have a thread in honour of Andy Fletcher. There's plenty of songs to choose from, apart from all the album material they had 42 top 40 singles. Sadly, no number one though. I believe that's a record for any band, though is beaten by Morrissey if you include Smiths and solo stuff.  Anyway, here's my top five:

Yep, I quite like them,, genuinely attended a Morrissey gig with Fletch and Martin, along with my cousins ex who happened to be their road manager. So mean of her splitting up with him.

When the Body Speaks - Gahan at his best.

What a great shout Jimmy, off a really underrated album that was, at the time, a real departure for them.

Indeed. remember getting home from work on a friday getting ready to go out and was showering when i heard it, had to get out to find out who it was, bought the single the next day. Sure Charlton were away and carried the single in what ever safe haven i could before i got home.

I particularly like the way you've put Ice Machine/Dreaming Of Me. As soon as @fadgadget said Ice Machine, I thought yes the b-side is better. Your way gets me out of the conundrum.

Yep. Struggled with that as I like them both. But Ice machine the better song and one that I used to love seeing them play live in the early days

My mate sent me this, he is the one at the back with his mouth open , he used to spend a lot of time with Mode and even accompanied them touring .
I remember visiting him in hospital and Fletch turning up, 
Ended up in the pub afterwards with Fletch buying.
Good memories
