To Charlton Athletic for tomorrow 9th June.
To celebrate our birthday and as a thank you to our fantastic volunteers the museum organised a short tour of Charlton tonight taking in a few sites.
After a pint in the Oak, our headquarters when we played at Pound Park opposite, it was on to East St, York St and West St, where the club was formed and where all the original players lived.
Then to what we believe is the site of Siemens Meadow, our first ground where you can still see the Victorian factory where many of the players worked.
Then it was up to Charlton Village to the New Viceroy restaurant where Jimmy Seed took all his new signings (this may not be true).

Congratulations also to my dad @Redmidland who as 14 year old spotted this group of lads playing and decided to watch them becoming the first ever Junior Red.
