This Norway back line is unconvincing at best.

With Haarland and Wolff playing and Berg floating about in close proximity, Norway were aways going to face a Titanic struggle, although that missed penalty hasn't holed them below the waterline yet.
    Well done sir!

Moussa has the pace but doesn't seem to have the brains. Keeps running into trouble.

Thinking about the blatant corruption of Trump + Infantile, it’s not too unrealistic to think that referees, particularly Belgium vs USA, might be as malleable as their boss?

    this really stinks.

Jesus wept. What the fuck is Matterface rambling on about now?
Apparently there’s lots of colour in the stadium and something about Brooklyn.

FFS. If Steve Coogan hadn’t already invented Alan Partridge, I’d think Matterface was a satirical character.

No idea how he’s Arsenal’s captain.

"Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority."

    America, land of the lawsuit.

Interesting if true - National football associations have been suspended where there’s government interference.

Maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't take in the commentary angle and realise the French are going for an Olivier award for [bad] acting.
Morocco will beat them with a good referee.
Or maybe, just maybe, we can use our eyes and see the Paraguayans were dirty c***s
Indeed, and also the French were play acting c@~ts.

Tap on shin pad? Roll over 3 times screaming. So many examples the 'pundits' ignore for the, 'I predicted the French to win the World Cup' kudos

You seem to be totally out of kilter and have you not noticed how our English players do exactly the same when trying to win a foul, including Harry Kane !
Your hatred of the French is affecting your views.
It's a game of opinions and bias entrenched views which can affect all of us.
    Argentina 😤
    Different views I guess.
Did you really not see the French play acting?
Did you not see Kane dive against Congo?
    Complete whataboutery.
    France game.
    Lol ok

"Look at them cheating, Look at them"
"What about us doing the same?"
"Nooooo don't pay attention to that, that ruins my point"
We were discussing France vs Paraguay.
All the pundits said Paraguay were dirty and I agree - disgraceful.
But I added that France really made a meal of it with continued play acting.
You seem to have taken some offence at this and couldn't answer a simple question - did you see it?
Instead of answering, you then reply by claiming Kane dived once, a completely different single incident in a completely different game, and so it must be fine for the continuous French over reactions. OK - strange whataboutery but if that's a point you think is relevant, that's fine.

    Best leave it there.
France started diving and feigning injury in the second half.

The referee had made it patently clear by then that he was not going to do his job properly and referee the game fairly.

The referee was obviously biased or corrupt and I don’t blame the French in the slightest.

I’m sure Belgium have lawyers too. In fact I can even name one. Her moment of supreme redemption to save the integrity of the World Cup?

Christ, Belgium will probably end up kicked out of the competition if you put her on the case!

Balogun should do the right thing and sit out of the game regardless.

I’d love to know what guidance refs have been given, because the stupidity is systemic. It’s like they’ve been instructed not to call fouls or give out cards. At that point, it’s just endless niggly fouls with no way consequences

All this Haaland guy is score goals. Zero beyond that. Anyone can score in 14 consecutive internationals if they don't have to do anything else.
