Wasn't every match?Fortune 82nd Minute said:If I was a Portuguese fan, I'd be furious Ronaldo stayed on to the end. Was it a Testimonial match for him?2 -
Someone get that man a zimmer frame!!!1

Bernado Silva is also an annoying little rat.
So long Ronaldo. One of the very best to have ever played but kept going for too long and thats been at the detriment of his national team.8 -
No one went up to him on the pitch so he disappeared down the tunnel, team mates didn’t even acknowledge him on the walk back to the dressing room. In fact one walked past him without even a sideways glance2
-
I'd get him a nappy, he walked away like he'd shat himself.ForeverAddickted said:Someone get that man a zimmer frame!!!3 -

One of my sixth form students is Portuguese and he’s been absolutely raging that Ronaldo has apparently been undroppable for the last couple of years. He tells me that his whole family and every Portuguese person he knows is frustrated with Ronaldo. They love what he’s done in the past, but they think his influence has been detrimental to the team recently.Fortune 82nd Minute said:If I was a Portuguese fan, I'd be furious Ronaldo stayed on to the end. Was it a Testimonial match for him?At the beginning of the World Cup he said to me that the only chance Portugal had was if Ronaldo got injured in the group stage and couldn’t play again. The fact that his selection is keeping younger forwards with potential on the bench is what annoys him the most. His consistent verdict has been “Ronaldo doesn’t play for Portugal, he plays for Ronaldo.”11 -
We've got Carli Lloyd on US TV talking about Ronaldo's "lack of service." She's a terrible pundit(wonderful footballer though she was).2

The mad thing is that Fernando Santos had done the hard work at the last World Cup, dropped Ronaldo one knockout game and had him as a sub the other.lordromford said:

Then Martinez comes in and whether he was told Ronaldo plays or he's decided himself, made him undroppable.again, wasting any chance a good Portugal squad had in both Euro2024 and this World Cup.5 -

Fucking hell, this is vile. How have we ever reached this point as a civilisation?

Peter Crouch was better in the winker game on his own than the ego was tonight. Feel sorry for Martinez to a degree as he was put in an impossible position but Ronaldo's circus is hopefully over

Bagolun starts for USA tonight.

Now c'mon Belgium. Never in a million years did I think I'd say that!

sadly, It's not a point we've reached it's always been there, we're trying to move away from it but there will always be those that use division and hate, the most base of emotions as a way of gaining support.Leroy Ambrose said:Fucking hell, this is vile. There seems to be a resurgence of this currently, we know who they are.6 -
