Beware the 3rd December against Cheltenham @ the Valley

If England finish second in the World Cup Group, then we'll be playing our 2nd Round game @ 3pm that day - Could well be a late KO change, as there will only be four days between our last Group Game, and the 2nd Round

17th December against Bristol Rovers, will clash with the 3rd Place Game if both are at 3pm
  • Got quite a nice run-in there
  • Pompey away NYD :-(
  • Difficult first 6 games
Yes. But I want 18 points from them.

  • still can't believe all the leagues aren't pausing for the WC
  • FGR away on a Saturday, early in the season would be nice. A new ground for most, in a nice part of the world.

Of course that means we'll play there on a Tuesday in February.
    Aaarrggghh

There are no League games during the entirety of the Group Stages

So its highly unlikely that a club at this level will have any players missing for the KO rounds.

Although I'd be surprised if there arent FA Cup | EFL Trophy games scheduled instead

Bit shit how we have matches on 3rd December when England are very likley to have a 2nd round world cup match in the world cup and on the 10th as well if we get through

  • Nasty start but decent end …
  • Bolton A - Sept 3rd
    Fleetwood A - Sept 17th

Two local games for me, shorts weather. Buzzing.
  • Accrington Away then Derby at Home
    How did you do that?

What are the Euro millions numbers for Friday please?

The 10th will be a 7pm KO for England if they play that day - Might reduce the numbers going to Morecambe.

I hadn't realised that, I thought it was only the Championship that paused for the WC group stages

No I didnt either until I saw the Fixture List.

Group Games are from the 21st Nov | 2nd Dec so feels like they've been squeezed in this time around, although its unsurprising - There is only one Saturday we dont play between then which is the 26th.

So I'd imagine the FA Cup dates will be as per follows looking at the gaps:

    1st Round - 5th November
    2nd Round - 26th November
