Normally a good sign when a manager brings along a former player
Not just for what they do on the pitch but its trusted eyes and ears and example setting. They can also spell it out to team mates in basic terms. Footballers aren't some times the brightest lot (although some are).
No coincidence that two of the first players Curbs signed were Nelson and Gatting.
He's done nothing yet..At any club he has ever played for.. No reason at all suggest rolling in at SE7 he will suddenly become a Konchesky etc That said, I'm all for giving new players total support. Ghana has clearly seen something in him from last season and believes he can make the step up.
Six league starts and three assists isn’t bad going if you ask me…
A local player that showed plenty of promise early on, made a move that didn’t work out and is having to work hard to get his career back on the track it was previously heading.

Welcome Mandela Egbo.
Let’s see what he can do before he gets an international call up.
“He’s a star man, running down the right his name is Manny Egbo and he’s fucking dynamite”
least we won’t have to get creative with a song
“Every Saturday we follow, the boys in red and white” ”and now we’ve got Manny Egbo, we’re fucking dynamite” ”Karel Fraeye, Russell Slade, they used to fuck shit up” ”I know you won’t believe us, but we’re out the Kent senior cup”

Best Right back penalty taker was Ray Stewart at West Ham. Although Graham Alexander must have ran him close.

Has 42-goals from the penalty spot and he's another Right-Back

They had injuries and he then got some games.
