Taken too early.
It was only a few weeks ago that upon reading his book (Never Give Up) I discovered how hard he had fought, and with what courage, to forge a career in football following his injury.

It was great to see Graham forge a career in the US and re-build his life there after the terrible and disgusting injury he suffered at Roker Park. An old piece here for some of our younger fans who may not know of Graham's Charlton career. God bless you Buster.

This is so so sad. I have no doubt he would have become a very fine keeper but for his horrific injury.

Sad news.
Graham didn't have the career that his talent deserved because of the terrible injury but a full life was lived.

Sad news. I knew Tutty in Primary School. He was two years above me and one of the bigger boys in the football team, who the younger boys looked up to. I have a memory of him playing in goal for Turnham against Marvels Lane in the Invicta Cup Final at Warren Avenue. As you get older, memories of the early days of your life are cherished.
Proud to use his name as my username. Condolences to his family.
RIP Tutty. Mr Pigden will be up there writing your name on the blackboard as the keeper in his team for Saturday, in the old 2-3-5 formation as he always did.19 -
Rest in Peace Graham0
