When the Saudi's took over most people (myself included) thought it'd be at least 3-4 years before they got into the top 6. If they somehow manage to get a champions league spot then that will certainly get the players in and may cement their place in the top 61 -

Eddie Howe became stale at Bournemouth and is proving that he is a top manager. Polar opposite to a small fan base at Bournemouth and his Jimmy Seedesque achievement on the south coast by his journey up the divisions but getting the great underachievers like Newcastle to look decent even with the Oil money behind them will be his finest feat. It's not a level playing field and Saudi Arabian money at St James and UAE at City have changed and will continue to change the dynamics in the Premium League. Chelsea were made with dirty Russian money and now USA money similar to Liverpool will keep a small monopoly going.

Their entire defence yesterday at Spurs cost less than Maguire.
Their entire midfield cost less than Casemiro.
