2022-23 CL Prediction League Week 3 Results

The rallying call to get Parkinson out may have been more than 10 years ago, but it's @ParkinsonOut who leads the Prediction League after three weeks with a very respectable 14 points. Week 3 proved to be a tough week with correct scores being few and far between and enough upsets to damage the hopes of many Prediction Leaguers. Stamina was clearly a problem in the heat as the third prediction of many competitors produced a big fat zilch. Seeing through all this murkiness were competitors with associations from opposite ends of the country. @WestSussexAddick and @lancashire lad scored a healthy five points, but only a third of competitors could muster a score of two or more. @Charlton_Road_James, you will note, is appropriately in the same position as Charlton. Meanwhile, those who predicted a Manchester United win at Brentford will probably be glad they paid me the £10 I requested to keep their names out of the headlines.

    …oh, and Kane’s 96th minute goal robbed another point too. Great predictions but the Charlton 90th minute curse has struck!
