My 12hr days weekend otherwise a nice weekend in Blackpool would be on the cards. One of the friendliest grounds and fans you will get anywhere.

A slight curio is how often we seem to play there in early autumn. This will be our 6th visit there, and 4th in September or the beginning of October.

RMT strike will mean a limited service starting at about 08.00, with a reduced service between Euston/Preston with the last return train departing Preston around 16.00.
There will be no trains between Preston/Blackpool.
Avanti Westcoast have not yet released a timetable & tickets are not yet on sale.

There will be Royal Mail strikes on the 8th/9th September so it may be a good idea to order tickets asap or buy tickets at the ticket office.

Good. I think that all sporting events are cancelled during the mourning period.

No, I’m aged 35 and don’t think there’s one I’m eligible for unfortunately. I did look into it last week.

Train tickets now on sale, there are no direct trains to Blackpool North, so a change at Preston is required, cheapest trains i can see are the 08.10 arr Preston 10.38 & return from Preston  19.05 arr Euston 21.46.

Still coming up about £90 on splitmyfare.co.uk which is cheaper than the £104 I can see on the Avanti website. Make sure you check both
