    5-5 at the Valley.

    Golfie Jnr's enjoying himself there.

    Totally, utterly depressing.

I see NO way out of this dilemma.

Not a shred of "let"s raise our game and get at 'em' from anywhere on the pitch , and notably our captain.

Sadly I don't see anything changing for the better  this side of May.
    Which May?

Can they give our players shooting lessons?

I much preferred the yo yoing years where we were going between the champ and league one. At least then you are either fighting to survive, or fighting to go up.

This mid level mediocrity is just so unbelievably dull. It's not even October and the season feels like its over.
In fairness it’s only over as far as hope, promotion, team future and good football.  But, if like me, the joy of recent years is avoiding relegation, seeing an occasional goal/win and watching the cut and thrust of the fight for 18th - 14th in the 3rd Division, then it’s really only just starting after a false start!  It’s just a matter of adjusting expectations and perspective!

No chance Garner will be sacked. The sandman won't pay him off

Morgan tries to switch play across to Clare, but overhits it and its out for a throw. In the mean time Barnsley are having a tactical injury break as  and everyone's getting a drink

Another year in L1 for us probably.
    Probably?
    Relegation is still a possibility
2 wins in 10 is relegation form without a doubt
Absolutely this.  I think the team and management need to wake up to this.  All this talk of draws into wins, some of those draws could’ve been defeats and we could’ve been 2 down to Derby at HT.

It’s time to accept the transfer policy and the footballing side has failed, once again.  We have to say that even our so called ‘better players’ aren’t all that either.  If they were, we’d be a lot better off.

The season can still turn, but as pointed out today, defending has been poor and who’s going to score the goals?

Some fairly epic timewasting as a Barnsley player sits down injured a yard from the touchline by the dugouts 🙄

The guitar playing Wankpuffin  should do one of Two things.
Give Garner the money to build a decent side.
    Or

Just sell the club and FUCK OFF.
  • don't worry at least we have a manager who can get a team to L2 playoffs

Remember when Garner said something to the effect of "we'll have a style of play and sometimes it will frustrate the fans, but we stick to a style" and also said something along the lines of "my teams play attacking football, sometimes we'll concede a couple of goals, but we'll be ensuring we're scoring more to make sure we get the wins"

He was promising us that it doesn't matter if we can't defend, as we'll overwhelm teams with attacking play and win 3/4-2 in those games. I wonder if when he made those remarks he had any clue he'd be relying on a lone donkey and a kid as his only strikers...

Now Barnsley come forwards, great tracking back by JRS but it looks like he's injured, and there's a bit of a scramble in our area.

    Nice grilled Portobello mushroom.

    Asparagus.

    Zucchini/corgette.

For the latter two, nothing two fancy. Olive oil. Salt and pepper. Get a good char on it but don't overcook it so it gets mushy. Really important to let the natural flavor of the vegetable come out.

If this finishes 3 or 4 to Barnsley Garner will be sacked.
Then the owner is an idiot.

He hasnt supported the manager in the transfer market. You cant play tikka takka with players who cant score. We genuinely only have a couple of players who you could say were goal scorers. The rest couldn't score in a brothel.

Something happened in our area there, not sure if they shot wide or hit the post as I buffered at the critical moment.

Stockley is a shocking choice as skipper, he can’t raise his own game so has no chance of raising other players spirits.

I'm sure he woud have been aware of the career goalscoring records of our players. Football is a simple game sometimes.

Short of getting on the pitch and playing himself, not sure what people expect of Garner.
