    Is it coming back then?
Loop trains to/from the Sidcup and Woolwich lines have been retained in the weekday peaks only and removed from the timetable at other times.
Therefore OK to get to Charlton for a weekday evening match, but not home afterwards and not in either direction on a Saturday.

Bus takes an average 15 20mins. Walking about 35 minutes (if you don't stop at the Anchor & Hope for a drink!).

Southeastern’s director of operations, Scott Brightwell, told the regeneration, transport and culture scrutiny panel that in the long term, Southeastern hoped to return “rounder” services linking the Sidcup and Greenwich lines, but only in peak hours, and to bring in more Charing Cross trains for the Bexleyheath line, if there was funding.

Loop line trains from the Sidcup line heading round to the Greenwich line calling at Abbey Wood Elizabeth line services are set to return – but only during peak hours.

While welcome news to many hoping to reach the Elizabeth line on Southeastern services, the change is not happening until December 2024.

Used the loopy loop this morning for the first time since I used it to get to the Valley as a kid.

Couldn't resist standing up and looking out the window on the turn and checking I could see the front and the back of the train at the same time!

Great way of getting to The Valley from the Eltham/Falconwood/Welling area down teh Bexleyheath line.  Takes a while 'to loop' but listen to London matches build up on Radio London on the way to games and allows for a couple of Pints on the way home without fear of drink/driving. Also, never fail to get in a conversation with a fellow Addick (aka Sad Ba****d) about the days events on the way back.
