Lavelle: 3 he and Inniss kept backing off from the goal scorer and was screaming that one of them should close him down for a good 5seconds, then Lavelle showed us how slow he was with the tug back.
Inniss: 4 his passing from the back bloody poor as usual and then the usual yellow card.
O'Connell: 5 bang average against Oxford.
Egbo: 6 better than the other 3 defenders going forward ,
Dobson: 6 worked hard and in the first half did most to show we had a midfield, what the yellow was for I cannot tell.
Fraser: 5 trotts around the midfield shows no energy, an example was it was Dobson who ran 40yards to get into the box for hiss miss when Fraser had no more than 30yards to the same point.
Sessegnon: 5 tried hard but looked leg weary

Stockley: 5 gets an extra point for the goal, which showed his strength, what he does well.
Payne: 4 hardly new he was on the field.

Leaburn: 6 not his best performance but added the urgency to the game we did not show in the first half. Chin: 6 as Leaburn, though maybe a slightly better showing than in previous games.

Would have been a relatively sedate afternoon but for his central defenders sending a string of unnecessary back passes his way, especially in the first half Lavelle: 4 - struggled Inniss: 5 - erratic throughout. Failed to challenge Browne and then turned his back on the shot for their goal. He was dominant aerially in the second half and made one very good, goal-saving block but then made a ridiculous and totally unnecessary tackle, going right through the back an Oxford player, which could have been a red on another day. The man seems incapable of controlling himself O'Connell: 6 - ok, the best of a mediocre central defence Egbo: 7 - an impressive performance, both defensively and offensively. He has pace, strength and athleticism. Unsurprisingly tired towards the end after so long out but one of the few positives from yesterday Dobson: 5.5 - below par Fraser: 7 - one of the very few Charlton players who looked comfortable receiving the ball in tight spaces Sessegnon: 6 - did ok on his first game back. I really hope he's not injured again R-S: 6.5 - a real threat in the second half when he had the space to run at defenders. He is completely wasted drifting around behind Stockley, as in the first half Stockley: 6.5 - he was visibly lifted by the goal, whilst the introduction of Miles Leaburn gave the Oxford defence something to worry about following the most comfortable first half they can ever have experienced in the professional game Payne: 4 - buzzed around as usual but nothing came off and his set plays were poor Kirk: 6 - he has composure and class and put in a lovely chipped cross for the goal but he is very much a luxury player Leaburn: 7 - put himself about well and had some good moments Chin: 6 - slotted in well and got forward to overlap Kirk on a couple of occasions Referee: 6 - I missed the contentious decisions myself but one thing I did like was his clamping down on time wasting
