Inniss: 6 - struggles when in possession and when opponents run at him but excellent in the air. A big threat at set plays and unlucky when his looping header hit the bar
Chin: 4 - struggled on the night but received no help from Payne, as Stevenage targeted that flank
Morgan: 5 - unable to make any impact. As we all know, he's not suited to an advanced midfield role
Dobson: 5 - one of the few players capable of standing up to the opposition physically but he misplaced a lot of passes in the second half
Fraser: 5 - the game largely passed him by and he was unable to create anything - Stevenage squeezed the space and were first to practically every loose ball
R-S: 5.5 - we found it hard to get the ball to him and he was well marshalled by their left back, who pressed aggressively and gave Jes very little opportunity to turn and run at him
Stockley: 4 - ineffective against an impressive central defence. Offered no goal threat and unable to hold the ball up and bring others into play
Payne: 4 - disappointingly lightweight and ineffective after his two recent performances. Wanted too many touches and too much time, neither of which Stevenage were prepared to grant him
Aneke: 7 - a game changer with his thunderous strike
Kirk: 6.5 - added some much needed composure and craft in the final third
B-T: 5 - mis-controlled a few passes and the opposition denied him space to run into
Sessegnon: 6 - helped shore up our left flank when he came on
F-C: 7.5: MoTM - he brought control and calmness to our play in an excellent cameo. With McGrandles out injured (and out of form anyway) and Albie Morgan blowing hot and cold, Jake surely needs to make the match day squad
Referee: 6 - gave a few soft free-kicks but fine overall
