Botafogo have announced a friendly with Charlton on Thursday at Crystal Palace's training gound. Bit of a curveball.

Further info on this match, Palace asked Charlton to send over a side to play Botafogo
Thursday morning. Charlton took a depleted U21 squad that included 4 first year under 18s. Then they found out that they were playing Botafogo first team squad. Twice in the game Charlton we’re in front through a Dylan Gavin penalty and another from a header. Botafogo changed 8 players during the second half and we only had 1 outfield sub.
2 goals were concided in the last 5 minutes as our boy’s began to tire.
Great team performance under the circumstances.5 -
