Blimey, I honestly didn’t know Tommy Caton was still playing for us when we returned to the Valley. Hard to imagine that within 6 months of that picture he died.
I had two copies of this on my bedroom wardrobe door. One the official poster, one the free one from the Mercury. I coloured their heads in as they left. I took it down when Curbs was the only one left.

He was still in the squad, but hadn't played since January 1991. Really sad as you say, when you realise he died just a few months after that photo was taken.
Brownie was also out injured for a long time around that time, but as we had Webster, Gatting and Balmer, plus the emerging Primus, we were well covered.

Who are the others ?
Edit
Doh - missed Gatting
Yes - who is that
And who is 2nd from left top row ?
Have looked up the photo now, but wont spoil it.
Next to Tommy Caton is a struggle for me. I can only think of Lee Harrison but he was a keeper.

Who's the academy lad next to Kim Grant?
