I think he'll start Saka on the right and Rashford down the left. I think the midfield 3 will be unchanged. Pickford Trippier Stones Maguire Shaw Henderson Rice Bellingham Saka Kane Rashford
Be quite happy to see an unchanged team from the Wales game.
Rashford is in form, and stands a chance of the Golden Boot so seems foolish to drop him - Foden I thought came into his own at long last when played out on the left.
Part of me would switch to a 3-5-2 now, but take the risk of resting Walker | Henderson so that the nucleolus of the squad are ready for the possibility of France - Would basically give Foden a bit of free reign to drift around Rashford and Kane, almost making it a front two, or front three at times.
Netherlands haven't been too dissimilar to us this competition and took 85mins, and Mendy fuck up (twice) to find a goal - Dont see tonight being comfortable in the slightest.
If thats the case, can only imagine us playing 3-5-2, with Henderson and Rice - Unless of course Mount comes back into the squad in his place - Which would be madness
• England have not won any of their last ten matches on ITV in normal time
• 19% win rate in their last 16 games on ITV
• Since 1996 there's a 39% win rate on ITV, compared to 68% on the BBC

Would be so much happier if this game wasn't on ITV
Will Southgate use this as his trial run with 3 at the back or stick to the same formation?

Maybe Henderson back out for Mount and go back to the original line up.
Pickford
Trippier Stones Maguire Shaw
Henderson Rice Bellingham
Saka Kane Rashford

Pickford
Dier - Stones - Maguire
Trippier - Rice - Bellingham - Shaw
Rashford - Kane - Foden
Bit of a FIFA / Football Manager approach from me though

Pickford
Tripper - Stones - Maguire - Shaw
Bellingham - Rice
Saka --- Maddison (will be Mount) -- Rashford
Kane
His pace is needed , especially against better teams.
(btw i will only get worse from here on in.)
I should have done that on Friday.
