Indeed. But is Bazball about leaving a ball that he can cut?Leuth said:

The ball he got out to today was the widest of those and there is an argument that a few of the others were too close to do so. It was the execution that was wrong and he should have thrown the kitchen sink at it.Callumcafc said:0 -
Boland is so consistently accurate and just makes batsmen look that much more uncomfortable0

The Aussie attack looking a bit samey. You worry that England will have the same issue.killerandflash said:Interesting that both sides have left out their "x factor" bowlers Wood and Starc
Very passive from the Aussies at the moment, as if it was 5pm with England 280-30 -
@Leuth jumps off his seat at the sight of Lyon turning the ball in the first hour of the Test1

The hope would be that atmospheric conditions will be different when the Aussies bat. But, yes, this is an absolute road.killerandflash said:

They'll have him and Marnus at each end before lunchAddick Addict said:@Leuth jumps off his seat at the sight of Lyon turning the ball in the first hour of the Test1 -
This ties into my theory that Rehan Ahmed might be in this England team alongside Moeen before the end of the series0

he usually bowls on roads at MCG in the sweltering heat, so he's quite at home here.Addick Addict said:Boland is so consistently accurate and just makes batsmen look that much more uncomfortable0 -
You have to wonder what sort of field they will be setting at 5pm.killerandflash said:

It's all very well KP saying that the Aussies went too quickly to Plan B - but how many balls have beaten the bat today or have we seen false shots hit in the air? Instead of 74 we would probably be well over 100 but for the boundary riders. The singles are there but for every ball that pierces a ringed field it is a boundary.1
-
LOL I hope we show that on the big screen to the Aussies0

bloody hells bells, how has the bowler, keeper and slip cordon not heard that nick?!?!

That was a good review. I thought originally the ball had pitched outside leg1

Very good review. No wonder the umpire didn't give it.0

96-2 off 20 overs

Root 20 -
Root really, really wants to reverse-scoop Boland here. I just know it0
