Looking at the weather forecast, play should start tomorrow at 11 ok, but rain is likely before the lunch interval and will probably ruin the rest of the day...
Weather forecast keeps changing. Checked at 6am it said pretty rainy day.

Now checked again and all 3 apps say different things. Common one is cloudy all day and rain at 6.
BBC saying raining now (it isn’t) and 20%chance of rain between now and 11am. Then again at 1ish.
iPhone weather says cloudy but 30%chance of rain from 4.
Metoffice say cloudy and 50%chance of rain at 6.

My Google App has a high chance of rain this afternoon, after 2...

I don't care how good a batsman he is.
He's not good enough to keep wicket

I'm at the edge and front of the Hollies, which is similar to being in the sitting down group at the front of the away end  :D

We’re in the one to the right of the hollies which I’m calling Ashley Barnes stand. The lower bit though. Nice to have a different view as was in Raglan for last 2 days.

    Jimmy just got Carey

Great, a wicket off a genuine ball, well done Jimmy, now lets get these Aussies out

I was in the middle of what became the feck up of the day, the sentence " Maybe it's time to put Jimmy ...." ( out to pasture) when Carey's wicket splattered all over the shop.

Sorry, Jim but it did work !

That's where we are tomorrow, Stanley Barnes is it?  Front of the upper though I think.

Yes that’s the one. Looks like an unfinished extension. Hopefully if you’re at the front you’ll still be able to see the screen for review/replays

Reports that Foakes will be dropped for Bairstow.

Very harsh on Foakes, hope it doesn't cost us - catches win matches etc.
    Hmm.

I was literally about to say let’s bowl at the stumps and right up in the block hole! None of this short stuff on a docile pitch. Take the pitch out the equation.

    more Yorkers please.

Bizarre field, and Robinson fooled Khawaja with the faster straight one!

    Lyon gone.

we could have been 60-70 ahead now ;)

they could have been all out for 250 if Bairstow hadn’t turned into butter fingers

Either way lots to work on as a unit because they shouldn’t be in the position they are. We should be half way to winning this.

Well, we finished ahead and are bowling last. That's a good position?

Should be in a commanding position in this match rather than it being in the balance, but a positive momentum swing towards lunch and psychologically must be relieved not to have conceded a first innings lead. We go again. 😉

That short ball tactic worked against the Aussie tail, and on a slow pitch too. Mark Wood will be licking his lips.
