I know several competitors prefer games that kick off at the traditional time of 3 pm on Saturday, but the New Year programme means that most games are on Sunday and Monday. We're back to normal next week, but Week 21 of the Prediction League offers an excellent selection of games so that you can start 2023 with a bang. The Prediction Knock-Out Cup starts at Week 22, so get ready for the double bubble of League and Cup action. The draw for the Cup takes place on New Year's Day at 12 midday. You can watch it live at this link
here.
The Week 20 results can be found at this link
here.
There's also a rule clarification that will operate from Week 21. If a game is postponed, it will only count in the Prediction League and Cup if it is played on or before Monday. In other words, if a game is postponed from Friday to the next Monday, it will count, but if it is postponed from Saturday to Tuesday, it will not count. Similarly, if any Monday game is postponed, it will not count. Where a game is postponed beyond the qualifying date, you should choose an alternative game. If a game is abandoned, the score of the abandoned game will count, regardless of when it is replayed. Sorry for that boring clarification!
