  • Predicted a 3-1 defeat tonight....
  • Oxford come forward, Campbell not quite on it defensively, shot comes off AMB and another forward nipped in to score before he can gather.
  • Oh dear.

    Not good defending/goalkeeping.

    3-1

Another away defeat, inching ever closer to the drop zone.

  • Wildschut given too much space to shoot, goes through AMB somewhat and O'Donkor can smuggle it over the line
  • 3-1,Thats it,can someone turn off the lights a lock up before they leave...good night
  • Campbell loses the ball on te left but does well to nick it back again.
  • Has a single Aaron Henry ball forward worked out?

Really unlucky for AMB he did well to get to the shot but was left exposed.

  • Dream over. 3-1

    Easy for them.again really.
And what a bad dream it was, never ending.

  • Nice work between CBT and Payne but CBT's shot bobbles and their keeper lands on it gratefully.
  • AMB at fault there….why the fuck is Campbell playing left back
  • i predict we'll get a second goal but it will be too little too late
  • "most important goal of the season" according to Oxford Comms.
  • Campbell ain't a left back, he can fill in at LWB maybe, but in a flat 4 with Ness next to him, that ain't happening

AMB at fault for 2 goals in 2 games now
Don't think so. Possibly could have done better with the goal tonight, but was a bit unlucky. Don't blame him for the goal in the last game.
  • Foul on Dobson so we have a FK in our own half.

Was far too slow to react.

  • Looked to be like AMB had his hand on the ball. I'm sure when that happened to Kasper Schmeichel the decision went his way.
  • Rashford is going to think how many can I score in one game when we meet.
  • Great commentary from Ali Wibble tonight, kept me away from the stream!
  • Gills have scored 1-1

    Will Stockley ever score
Will he ever be presented with a passable chance by the rest of the team? Much much better players than him would not score for us playing in tiny if tonights midfield.
Funny how Leaburn seems to get chances when he's on the pitch though

It's as though Jayden's approach of jogging into the box and standing still isn't really paying off...!
What would you suggest Stockley should be doing differently to get more chance then? He has tow headers where he found space well but the ball wasn’t good enough to him. He had shot where the ball was pulled back but it was a on my and under hit and a defender blocked.

He’d have buried the same chance Leaburn just did but we deliver in average one decent cross per match.
He wouldn't even have been in the box! You think Stockley can keep up with CBT? He'd have been 10 yards behind.
Yes his lack of pace means you have to give him the service that he can work with, which we consistently do not. Leaburn is a much better option. So is Chucks. Trouble is, neither have been reliably available. Stockley has. I hope we move him on January and sign someone better, but until we can do that he’s what we’ve got and the constant digging out of him individually like it’s somehow all his fault, like if he ceased to exist we’d stop conceding dumb goals and score 2 every week, all gets very boring. If you give him decent crosses he can score goals, certainly a least a few compared to the horrible barren run he’s on now. He wasn’t fast last season or the season before but was a goal threat then because we gave him better service that he, with all his limitations, could be effective with.

Genuinely, how many decent crosses per match do we put in? Ones that miss the first man, passes between the 6 yard box and penalty spot around head height and doesn’t just pick out a defender? It’s really very few. We could sign 3 strikers in January but until we fix the quality of our final ball they will not get enough chance to score enough goals to win us matches. That’s without factoring in the fact we look like conceding 2 or 3 every week.
  • Campbell ball watching not a defender so you reap what you sow and AMB fumbles it over the line loada crap 🤬
  • If you are going to play a flat back 4, you need a left back, not  inexperienced midfielders like Chin and Campbell playing there.
  • Erk, Inniss has an air shot in defence, we sort of recover, then Oxford come down our left and cross, and AMB has to punch away.
  • Fuck sake
Just got in should of stayed in the FILO.
