Many occasions I had a few chats with him and was always welcoming and polite man. Will be missed by those who knew him.

Passed his Rolls Royce on the A2 once, he saw me looking, gave me a wave and a smile and did the cross armed hammers sign, ran him off the road and gave him a kicking for insulting me.
