I didn’t know Danny, but certainly recognise him from Alex’s photo as someone I had seen at games over the years and for his part in The Valley Party.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends, including Ben and Alex. Rest in Peace Danny x
That's me on the left, Danny is next to me together with Danny's brother Alex, Alan and Steve. Picture taken by Ben in the Royal Oak, 5th December 1992. The Photo was used in the Back to The Valley Anniversary Programme.
So sorry to hear this awful news. First met Danny back in the 80's travelling to games and then had the pleasure of being a part of the Valley Party with him. A true gent and a lovely bloke. My deepest condolences to his family and to Derek (AW), who along with Danny made for a duo it was always a pleasure to spend any time with. R.I.P. Danny
RIP Danny and condolences to @Henry Irving, @UEAAddick and the rest of the family. I'm not especially religious, but I do like the way the universe sometimes arranges those kind of happy coincidences in the midst of a bereavement.
For anyone involved in the Valley Party, I always have absolute respect and so much gratitude. Without the dedication of these soldiers we wouldn't be having this conversation. Thanks Danny RIP and condolences to all those that know and love him.

It is touching to hear from those who knew Danny and also from those who didn't but appreciated what he did.
Totally by coincidence, sorting donations in the museum today and found this
Without the sterling work there would be no club, so a huge debt of gratitude.
