Matt Penney makes his full Charlton debut in today's clash against Bolton Wanderers at The Valley. replacing the injured Todd Kane in one of four changes to the side that claimed a 2-0 triumph over Barnsley last time out.The other three changes see Albie Morgan, Macauley Bonne and Corey Blackett-Taylor come in from the off
Supporters outside of the UK and Ireland ( or appear to be) 😉 can watch the game live on CharltonTV
If continue in a 4-3-3 formation, Penney should operate alongside Sean Clare, Ryan Inniss and Lucas Ness in a back four ahead of Ashley Maynard-Brewer.
Morgan joins captain George Dobson and Scott Fraser in midfield, behind a front three of Jes Rak-Sakyi, Bonne and Blackett-Taylor.
Stockley misses out with a minor calf injury sustained during training on Friday....Mmmm...🤔

Stockley, how the mighty have fallen.0

Not sure why Miles needs a rest. Not played for two weeks and no midweek game. Would liked to have seen Sess at right back. Not happy Morgan is starting, really need to get in an upgrade.0
-
I'd have O'Connell, Sessegnon, Henry and Leaburn in and Clare, Inniss, Morgan and Bonne out personally but there we go0
-
I'd agree except maybe the centre half switch.0
-
Can a Mod please make this a stickie...thanks..👍0
-
Sess and O'Connell coming back from injuries. Don't think Henry is better than Morgan...... yet.0
-
Don't agree with Bonne over Leaburn but Miles is young and probably shouldn't be playing every game. Doesn't look like the best team but in Holden we trust.0

Anyone pulled up injured yet?0

If both teams could do nothing for the first 10 minutes I'd be grateful, as I'll be late for the game...
Which means I'll arrive when it's 2-2 with 2 penalties and a sending off0 - Sponsored links:

Must be the highest set of first team numbers we've had in a back four in a long time, not counting emergency times when we've had to put 12 year olds in the starting eleven under Roland

I'm assuming Sess's knee problem is still having to be managed1

Either that or we lose him for the season whilst he has knee surgery0 -
Keeping Leaburn out of the spotlight for another 3 days.
I like it.5 -

Maybe it's wise not throwing Miles in against Santos and hoping for miracles.2

God I hate the current Sky Sports direction of trying to engage with the social media crowd. I don't want to hear from a YouTuber that films himself celebrating goals, I want to know what some 37 year old journeyman with busted knees who played 19 times for Bolton (0 goals) thinks about their current tactical shape

That'll endear him to us then...6

Oh my god, I think Curbs on I’m A Celeb would be genius. I would’ve never thought of it.0

As I said in Preview, Corey Blackett-Taylor will be so important for Charlton today if we can hit Bolton on the counter when Evattball commit so many players forward; Pleased to see CBT starting and hope he can get in the gaps and create havoc for the Bolton defence.
Rak Saki needs to have quality ball as well.
Still feel it will be a score draw and hope the sleepy feel of a 12.30 KO doesn't affect Cafc.
I will go with Dean Holden's starting line up as he has had two weeks at Sparrows and has worked with the team ;The fans haven't.
It's a 16 player per team now so the side from 65 minutes to the end of added time is as important.
