Enjoying the local hospitality, free cup of coffee on entry to the ground. Nice to be treated as wanted guests.

Enjoying the ball "lad" employed to fetch the balls that get hoofed out of the ground. On one occasion he was out there when a second disappeared out into the road, I was gutted to see him eventually return with only one of the balls.

Disgusting from the ref after the first goal. Downright disrespectful.
Not really... He was just sticking to the letter of the law.

There are some very rare Referees who'll let it go, but their hands are tied by bureaucracy
I thought they were only booked if they took their shirt off. not just pull it up

Oh and no way does this ref want 22 players on the pitch at the end...itching to get the red out!
  • Bonne has been absolutely dreadful.

Strange how one of the best young forwards in the country is sitting on the bench.

For heavens sake, get him on.

It wasn't his shirt it was handed to him by the bench, to hold up.

I'd be gutted too if I lost one of my balls

Great going forward for the most part, shakey at the back.

    2 excellent goals from us.

Playing out and around the back is the usual calamity in waiting especially when it's Inniss with the ball, saying that, Ness can pick a half decent pass.

Clare is Clare and is really fighting Morgan for most inconsistent player tag. Also he always  looks like he's going to fall over whenever he's running with the ball  to me😅

Bonne's won a number of headers and flicked them roughly around his team mates a couple of decent ones. He also played two okay passes to put Fraser through.

He's not been good, but so far better than Stockley for me.

In addition for Bonne he's mistimed a few jumps and not run at balls I'd expect. A pretty average game.

    It’s called discretion.
Read my second line - I honestly get your point, but you wont see many Referees being discreet.

I mean there was the referee who didnt book Billy Sharp years ago when he played straight after his Wife had a miscarriage (?) - and he got applauded for it... Says all you need to know, discretion doesnt happen enough.
    I did.

Suffering the same issue as Stockley though in as much as we never seem to have anyone up near him - so not sure why we are pinging balls at him.

Great half time chat with the guy from Norway, and prefers Leaburn over Haaland, good judge..✅

Offside, Charlton Athletic. Matt Penney tries a through ball, but Scott Fraser is caught offside.

53 | It was a good one that caused problems. Perhaps cleared away off the line but couldn't quite tell. We've now got our third successive corner.

A very passive and nervy start to the second half. I’d like to see Leaburn on, as there’s a better chance of the ball sticking and getting us up the pitch. Hopefully that won’t be delayed until Exeter have equalised

Listening to the Exeter commentator on ifollow and he keeps referring to “Brooke-Taylor”
What is it about CBTs name that commentators just can’t get right?

3rd corner of the half for Exeter
  • Exeter starting second half as they did first half, and we all know how that ended, we do seem to be defending very deep and inviting them onto us,, we desperatly need Leaburn on to hold up play and create chances COYR we can win this game
